Peru Without Altitude

The Peru without Altitude Tour allows you to visit this magical land without fear of high altitudes. There will be a single night stay above 3000 meters above sea level in Cusco, at the end of the tour, after a gradual acclimatization. During this trip you will discover the capital Lima, the beauties of Paracas, the Nazca Lines, the White City of Arequipa, the Sacred Valley of the Incas, Cusco and the unmissable Machu Picchu.

Arrival in the cosmopolitan Lima

Day 1

Arrival at Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima and transfer to the hotel with one of our agents.

Discovering Lima

Day 2

After breakfast, start the City of Kings tour with a visit to Miraflores, one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Lima. View to the archaeological site of Huaca Pucllana before strolling through the historic center admiring Plaza San Martín, the archbishop's palace, Plaza Mayor and visiting the Catacombs of San Francesco. The visit to the Larco Museum is optional. In the afternoon, transfer to Paracas by VIP bus (on request, possibility of private transfer Lima-Paracas). Hotel accommodation and overnight in Paracas.

The flora and fauna of the Ballestas Islands and the Paracas National Reserve

Day 3

The morning begins with a group excursion by boat of about two hours to reach the Ballestas Islands, followed by a private (or group) visit of the Paracas National Reserve. Optional continuation to the dunes of the Huacachina Oasis. Then you can reach Nazca by VIP bus (on request, possibility of private transfer Paracas-Nazca). Arrival and accommodation in hotel for overnight in Nazca.

The mysterious Nazca Lines

Day 4

After breakfast it will be possible to fly over the Nazca Lines (optional activity - flight time: 30min). The visit to the Antonini Museum, the Cantalloc aqueducts or the Chauchillas Cemetery is also optional. Afterwards, transfer by VIP bus to Arequipa with late evening arrival (on request, possibility of private transfer Nazca-Arequipa).

Arequipa

Day 5

Breakfast at the hotel and visit to the historic center of the city surrounded by three volcanoes: Misti, Picchu Picchu and Chachani. Do not miss the visit to the Plaza de Armas, the Claustro della Compañia dei Gesuiti, the Santa Catalina Monastery, the Casa del Moral and more. The afternoon will be free but there is the possibility of an optional tour to discover the sillar quarries. Overnight in Arequipa.

From Arequipa to the Sacred Valley

Day 6

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the flight to Cusco. Upon arrival you reach the Sacred Valley with a private transport service. Hotel accommodation and the rest of the day will be free. Dinner at the hotel included and overnight in Urubamba.

Arrival in Machu Picchu Pueblo

Day 7

Breakfast at the hotel and start of the private tour of the Inca ruins of Pisaq and visit of the picturesque local market, famous for its craftsmanship. Afterwards, visit the Maras salt pans before having lunch in Urubamba. In the afternoon visit the fortress of Ollantaytambo and from here take the famous train in the direction of the magical Machu Picchu Pueblo. Accommodation and overnight at the hotel.

The lost city of the Incas: Machu Picchu

Day 8

Breakfast at dawn before taking the shuttle bus to reach the entrance to the Machu Picchu site (2430 m above sea level). Visit this Wonder of the Modern World and optional walks towards Huayna Picchu, the Mountain, the Inca bridge or the Inti Punku. Return to Aguas Calientes, where you will board the train for Ollantaytambo. Private transfer to the Sacred Valley and overnight with dinner included.

The ancient capital of the Inca Empire: Cusco

Day 9

After breakfast, the last destination before returning to Lima is Cusco, the navel of the world. Visit to the Inca ruins of Puca Pucara, Tambomachay and Kenko near the city and city tour with visit to the Temple of the Sun and the San Blas district. Free afternoon.
This will be the only overnight stay above 3000 m, after having already acclimatized in the previous days.

From Cusco to Lima

Day 10

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport for the flight to the City of Kings and end of our services.
