    • Day 1 – Welcome to Ecuador

      Arrive in Quito where you will be met by our qualified staff. Travel to the Quitsato Sundial and La Mitad del Mundo before stopping at Cayambe to taste the local biscuits. Transfer to Otavalo for your overnight stay.

    • Day 2 – Local Traditions of Ecuador: Otavalo Market

      (B) Enjoy a tour of Otavalo Market to see the traditional crafts and textiles. Transfer to Peguche to visit the market and browse the local musical instruments. Next, travel to Cotacachi, the town nestled between two volcanoes to peruse the leather goods. Return to Quito for overnight stay.

    • Day 3 – City Tour of Quito

      (B) Following breakfast, tour the historic center of Quito to see the Church of San Augustin, the Church of La Compania de Jesus, the Basilica del Voto Nacional, El Panecillo and the Intinan Museum. Transfer to Cotopaxi for your overnight stay.

    • Day 4 – Cotapaxi National Park

      (B) (L) Visit Cotopaxi National Park to explore the flora and fauna. Enjoy lunch surrounded by Cotopaxi Volcano followed by a walk around the lagoon. Transfer to Baños de Agua Santa for your overnight stay.

    • Day 5 – Baños: Waterfall Circuit

      (B) (L) Today you will visit Pailon Diablo waterfall and enjoy a relaxing volcanic stone massage. Overnight stay in Riobamba.

    • Day 6 – Train Ride on the La Nariz del Diablo – Inca ruins of Ingapirca

      (B) Transfer to Alausi to board the train to travel down a 500m drop on a railway line called the Devil's Nose. Visit the Ingapirca ruins after an enjoyable train ride. Transfer to Cuenca for your overnight stay.

    • Day 7 – City Tour of Cuenca

      (B) City tour of Cuenca to visit the old and new cathedral, the flower market, Pumapungo Museum and the Panama hat factory. Travel to Chordeleg to view the fine jewelry before visiting Gualaceo to explore the markets and see the traditional weaving methods.

    • Day 8 – City Tour of Guayaquil

      (B) Visit Parque Centenerio to see the iguanas before heading to Plaza San Francisco, Puerto Santa Ana, Malecon 2000, Barrio Las Penas, the lighthouse and the artisan markets. Overnight stay in Guayaquil.

    • Day 9 – Cacao Nursery

      (B) After breakfast visit Las Canas, the biggest cacao nursery in the country. After lunch visit the native Shuar community and the hot springs. Return to Guayaquil for food tasting. Overnight stay in Guayaquil.

    • Day 10 – End of Tour

      (B) Transfer to the airport for your return fight home.
